Yard Young Artists: 16-21
ABOUT
This group of young creatives meet weekly to learn how to create theatre from professional artists, gaining work experience along the way. Over a year, the group learns how to create live stories for the stage, honing the invaluable skills from performance to project management. At the end of the year, they showcase their work at The Yard.
Please note we are currently not accepting new members to the group. If you would like to join our 2024-25 cohort, you can register your interest below and we will contact you when applications reopen in July 2024.
REGISTERWho is it for?
Yard Young Artists: 16-21 is for those aged 16-21.
Maybe you’re thinking about applying to drama school, or you’ve written a script and don’t know what to do with your scenes. Maybe you’ve been to a couple of amateur classes and want to be taught by a team of theatre professionals. We’re here to help you on your artistic journey.
No previous experience is necessary, just an enthusiasm for performance and a willingness to try new things.
When, where, how much?
Every Thursday 5.30pm-8pm at The Yard Theatre, Unit 2a Queen's Yard London E95EN, and it's free! Travel expenses can be supported.
